I was educated at a large engineering school that nobody has heard of (Rensselaer Polytechnic) in New York State, and have held a number of computer jobs in Europe and both ends of Canada. When my eldest son started attending Greater Heights Learning Academy, I was unpleasantly surprised at the state of the computers at the school, and promptly volunteered to drag the school’s IT platform kicking and screaming into the 20th Century. I am now working at the school one day a week, trying to keep our IT up to date with the relentless march of technology.
