My name is Holly and I am one of the Speech-Language Pathologists at GHLA. I graduated from UBC with a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2014, and have been working at GHLA ever since! I love working as part of a team; collaborating to provide the best support for our students. I strongly believe in providing therapy using a neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based approach. For some students this means a play focused approach (play=what is fun for the student, not “typical” play skills), for others this might mean collaborating with the student to come up with communication goals important to them, or learning about their own neurodiversity. Communication is meaningful when it is what we want to say, not what we are told to say!
