Jacqui joined Mediated Learning Academy (MLA) in January 2006. She graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy.
After working in a spinal unit at a General Hospital she had a break to raise her family. She returned to Occupational Therapy, going in to paediatrics. In 1999 she and her family immigrated to Canada where she worked as an Occupational Therapist in the School Aged Therapy Program and the Early Intervention Program. She feels fortunate to work at MLA and provide direct therapy intervention to the students at the school.
