My name is Karen and I am one of the OTs working at Greater Heights Learning Academy. I graduated with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Manitoba in 2009, after completing my Bachelor of Science. I have had the pleasure of working with children and their families, school teams, and support systems in Manitoba, Alberta and now beautiful BC.
I am passionate about providing services using a neurodiversity-affirming and strength-based approach, and I believe that therapy is most effective when it is fun and joyful! I work closely with others to support students’ development related to goals that are meaningful and important to them at school.
